Three Little Birds

Story of 3 little birds and one who soared above us all.

Welcome home Ava!

After spending every day at St. Luke’s since October 5, we no longer have to make the daily journey. On New Year’s Eve, we welcomed home Miss Ava. She was the hit of the neighborhood party and celebrated the New Year every 3 hours during the night with boisterous yelling until her drink demands were met.  Wyatt gently and gradually wakes us up with increasing grunts until dinner is served and Ava wakes up starving demanding her dinner 5 minutes ago. She is a new baby from last week in terms of gobbling down food and waking up ravenous. We won’t have to worry about her letting us skip any meals. In spite of the incredibly noisy and mistake-prone heart and breathing monitor we seem to contend with 5-8 times a night, we enjoy having them both home as baby watching is pretty entertaining.

Little man looks like he is protecting sister. How sweet. Tell Clay to keep up the good work. He looks like he has been up several times a night. Hope all is well. It gets easier.
