Lydia continues to charm over new her Boston team although her nurse said she wasn’t the most cheerful morning riser. I think she doesn’t like being out of God’s Time Zone in MO. She ended up getting the full overhaul today by almost everyone at the hospital and had quite a busy day. Child life stopped by and brought some new toys and a CD player, Physical therapy gave her a mini workout. Ophthalmology checked her eyes and said no retinopathy of prematurity, but she does have bit of a lazy eye (Thanks Dad!) and may need another surgery down the road for it and possible patching down the road. Plastic surgery said her head is mildly flat and gave her a head rounding board to lay in but at least she doesn’t need a helmet! She had a nuclear scan to determine blood perfusion to her lungs which turns out she perfuses more to her right side so will hopefully do well with surgery on Tuesday afternoon. So now we have the weekend to just hang out and spoil and entertain her. She’s been in a great mood and it’s nice to be able to spend so much one on one time with her! We love our little flat head, cross eyed, spit bag girl! We took yellow out of her adjective list since she’s pretty much back to a normal skin tone and all liver enzymes are on the high end of normal instead of sky high. Too bad we can’t sneak her out for a tour of the town and a Red Sox game!
