Another exciting month has flown by with the 2/3rds and our new kid on the block. Mr. Li brings so much joy to the house despite his frequent requests for me to be partially topless. His little features are the blend of Wyatt and the girls and prove all our children may in fact be related. The guy is an expert shopper and has already attended his first wedding. He even made a dance floor appearance while in his preferred barnacle like suction position on my chest.
We spent Mother’s Day in Trenton with our lovely mamas and it was nice having another little reason to celebrate the day this year! Since I can’t fit into size 4 dresses anymore, I thought Ava could wear my old one.
Wyatt and Ava wrapped up another year of preschool and the teachers didn’t seem to worried when we said we’d be back next year. Despite many choruses of “I am a child of God” sung when making huge messes at home, my musical protégées barely sang at all during their program. Maybe art is their thing?
Liam has really started taking an interest in his toys and belongings and is no longer the sleepy little newbie. We pulled out Lydia’s old buddy Jangles and he gives him the same perplexed looks with occasional gummy grins when Jangles gives a squeak. Those similar little wrinkled brows make me happy and sad all at once.
Brothers and their monkeys. Wyatt and Bobo on the left, Liam and Coco on the right. I forgot what a chub Wyatt was!
